1% a year of the portfolio value and €1 a month for account administration. We don't charge for opening or closing the account, for transfers or for changing your contribution.

The account is opened in the name of a parent or guardian, but it's meant for the child. Until the child turns 18 the money legally belongs to you; when they turn 18, the rights to the account pass to them.

In some years the portfolio will be worth less than you put in — that's how markets work. The longer you invest, the more the ups and downs even out. Contributions carry on automatically, and the worst thing you can do is pull out at the lowest point.

We are building Fund18 to meet EU investment services requirements. We will apply to the Bank of Lithuania for a licence and won't start operating until we have it.
