Privacy policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you join the Fund18 waitlist or visit fund18.com, what we use it for and what rights you have.
1. What data we collect
- In the waitlist form: your email address (required), your child's age and who is signing up — a parent, grandparent or other relative (optional).
- Proof of consent: the date and time of sign-up and your IP address.
- Where you came from: if you arrived via a tagged link (e.g. an ad campaign), we may record the source of that link and the page of the website where you signed up. This information is kept in your browser for up to 90 days and is sent to us only together with your sign-up.
- Your cookie choice: stored in your browser — see the Cookie policy.
We do not collect any personal data about your child other than the age you provide. No financial data is needed for the waitlist.
2. Why we use the data and on what legal basis
- To send you Fund18 news and let you know when we launch — based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- To tailor the information we send to your child's age and who signed up — based on your consent.
- To keep proof of consent and protect the form from abuse — based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell your data or use it for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
3. Who else may see the data
The data is processed by our service providers, with whom we have data processing agreements:
- MailerLite — the email newsletter platform where the waitlist is stored;
- Hostinger — website hosting.
If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, this is done only with the safeguards required by the GDPR (e.g. the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).
4. How long we keep it
We keep waitlist data until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe, but no longer than 3 years after your last activity (e.g. opening an email). We may keep proof of consent for up to 3 years after you withdraw it, so that we can show our emails were sent lawfully.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- withdraw your consent at any time — by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email or by writing to us;
- access your data and receive a copy of it;
- ask us to correct or delete your data;
- ask us to restrict processing or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a commonly used machine-readable format (portability).
We respond to requests within 30 days. If you believe your rights have been breached, you can contact the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt).
6. Changes
Once we start providing investment services, we will update this policy. We will notify people on the waitlist by email about any significant changes.
